Where it fits in the system
HYDRONYLON HN is the finishing layer of every build-up of the system. It is applied over HYDRONYLON HP on felt, over HYDRONYLON HMS(P) on metal, over Primer Emulsion EG on mineral substrates, and directly onto PVC membranes with Technical Mesh SW-1 reinforcement.

Coverage
- On primed felt and metal allow 0.8 to 1.0 kg/m² in one or two coats. On primed mineral substrates allow a minimum of 1.5 kg/m² in two coats, and on PVC membranes a minimum of 2.2 kg/m² in at least two coats.
- Example: a primed 50 m² felt roof at 1.0 kg/m² needs 50 kg of HYDRONYLON HN, which is two 25 kg buckets.
- Complete build-up materials costs per m² (materials only): felt £34.89, metal £16.39, mineral £18.48, PVC membrane £32.61.
Application notes
- Apply at +10°C to +35°C around the clock, at relative humidity up to 85%; never on wet or frozen substrates or during rainfall.
- On primed felt and metal apply 0.8 to 1.0 kg/m² in one or two coats; on primed mineral substrates apply a minimum of 1.5 kg/m² in two coats.
- On PVC membranes apply a minimum of 2.2 kg/m² in at least two coats, working the first coat in by brush through Technical Mesh SW-1 with overlaps of at least 5 cm.
- Allow a minimum of 24 h between coats.
- Mix before use and do not dilute. Clean tools with warm water and detergent.

Frequently asked questions
Which colours is HYDRONYLON HN available in?
HYDRONYLON HN is supplied in light grey, QLR ONE white and graphite, in 25 kg buckets. The colour you choose forms the final visible surface of the roof.
Which substrates can HYDRONYLON HN be applied to?
HYDRONYLON HN finishes every build-up of the system: felt prepared with HYDRONYLON HP, metal primed with HYDRONYLON HMS(P), mineral substrates primed with Primer Emulsion EG, and PVC membranes with Technical Mesh SW-1 reinforcement.
How much HYDRONYLON HN do I need?
On primed felt and metal allow 0.8 to 1.0 kg/m² in one or two coats. On primed mineral substrates allow a minimum of 1.5 kg/m² in two coats, and on PVC membranes a minimum of 2.2 kg/m² in at least two coats.
